Italian Passion, Melbourne Spirit

TROMBAR was born from a simple dream: to create a genuine Italian experience in Melbourne that would transport guests to the cobblestone streets of Rome or the rolling hills of Tuscany.

Founded in 2018 by Marco Rossini, a Bologna native with over two decades of culinary experience, TROMBAR began as an intimate trattoria serving traditional recipes passed down through Marco’s family for generations.

What started as a small neighborhood restaurant has blossomed into North Melbourne’s premier destination for authentic Italian dining, renowned for its handmade pasta, carefully curated wine selection, and warm Mediterranean hospitality. Today, TROMBAR continues to honor Italian traditions while embracing the vibrant multicultural spirit of Melbourne.
